Position: Senior System Engineer (ICT) (NL + ENG)
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Hybrid: 2-3 times a week on the client´s office

Context:
We are seeking a skilled Senior System Engineer to join the IT Operations team within the Digitalization and Organization department. The IT Operations team oversees the maintenance and production of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including software and hardware systems.
The selected candidate will work as part of the Windows Server Team, contributing to tasks such as resolving incidents, implementing minor service requests, managing application server releases, and maintaining Citrix XenDesktop Servers and Windows Server environments.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and resolve 2nd and 3rd line incidents.
- Implement minor service requests for the provided IT services.
- Deploy and manage line-of-business releases on application servers.
- Perform maintenance and support of Citrix XenDesktop Servers and Remote Desktop Session Hosts.
- Conduct general maintenance and monitoring of the Windows Server environment.
Required Technical Competencies:
Candidates must demonstrate at least five years of experience in the following areas:
- Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Windows Server 2012 or higher.
- Windows Infrastructure Services (DHCP, DNS, PXE) and Windows Firewall technologies.
Preferred Technical Competencies:
Experience or knowledge of the following technologies will be an advantage:
- Windows PowerShell.
- Microsoft IIS Application Servers.
- UniPrint Infinity Suite.
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 1902 or higher.
- Microsoft System Center Operations Manager.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in the specified technical areas.
- Proven ability to manage and maintain complex IT systems in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to resolve complex incidents efficiently.
Soft Skills:
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (mandatory)
- Basic understanding of French is a plus
